NVIDIA's ACE virtual human tech is making its way into an actual game

At this year’s Gamescom, Amazing Seasun Games is set to showcase their upcoming multiplayer mecha game, *Mecha BREAK*, featuring NVIDIA's Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE) technology. ACE, first introduced at Computer 2023, is a "custom AI model foundry service" designed to enhance game interactivity by allowing players to engage with NPCs in a more natural manner, beyond scripted dialogues.

NVIDIA demonstrated ACE with an example where a player interacts with an NPC named Jin at a ramen shop. The AI-driven character provided a detailed response about concerns over rising crime rates in his city, showcasing the technology's ability to generate relevant and contextual replies.

Amazing Seasun Games aims to utilize ACE to bring *Mecha BREAK*’s characters to life, offering a more immersive gameplay experience on GeForce RTX AI PCs. The technology is gaining traction among developers, with Perfect World Games also incorporating ACE into their demo for *Legends*, which includes real-world object recognition through ChatGPT-4o.

Additionally, NVIDIA announced that starting August 22, PC Game Pass access on GeForce NOW will be streamlined. Players will only need to link their Xbox profile once for seamless streaming of Game Pass titles in the future.
