With Apple's anticipated iPhone 16 lineup set to debut in September, new rumors from China have emerged, revealing the battery capacities for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a 3,577 mAh battery, representing an increase of over 9% compared to the iPhone 15 Pro's 3,274 mAh battery. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to come with a 4,676 mAh battery, which is more than a 5% increase from the iPhone 15 Pro Max's 4,441 mAh.

While these capacity increases might seem modest, they indicate Apple's ongoing efforts to enhance battery performance. Combined with potential improvements in the chipset and display efficiency, these upgrades could result in better battery life for the new models.
Additionally, both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to support 40W wired and 20W MagSafe wireless charging. This would be a notable upgrade from the 27W and 15W charging capabilities of their predecessors, offering a potentially more convenient charging experience.
